There has been a hiatus as my son was born last Tuesday so you can imagine that things have been a bit hectic around here. He is great. We are settling in with the new convive although it will be still a few month before he taste the local cuisine except through his mother's milk. Anytime I get the chance I make him smell something different. Today it was scone with raisins and fennel seeds. He most particular, about which breast he drinks from. He stick to the right one as if his life depended on it but makes a scream, weep and refuse to drink from the left one. They both taste the same and we can't find no difference on how hard he has to suck to get the milk. Both his mother and I are scratching our head. We laugh about it except at 3:00AM, we have to get to the bottom of this.
Tonigth, I'll be making mussels in white wine, echalottes grises and orange peels between to breast feeding session.
I'll serve them with roasted green pepper salad and oven roasted potatoes.
