To begin with

To begin with...

I'm from Montreal Canada. I work in software sale taking care of Europe, Africa and South America for a small software company. I travel a lot; I have been to Europe 9 times last year, twice to the US and once to South Africa.

But one of my great passions is cooking. So I'm putting up this blog to talk about cooking, about the food I eat and the wine I drink while traveling or at home, about new idea I get and new stuff I manage to do.

Successes and failure like the saddle of rabbit stuffed with figs I made last week (success) and the foie gras in lobster aspic I made at Christmas, not so bad but considering the time I spent on it, it was a failure. (No worry, the foie gras was not wasted.

This will also improve my writing skill (if I manage to be consistent). I'm French speaking but I will write in English in order to reach more people (a bit presumptuous, I know).

We will see.

In the mean time, I need to cook some omelette as my wife and I are going to the pre-natal classes tonight.

At 19:30... This is barbarian but I might as well get use to it.

Afterward we are going to the train station to get a friend from Brazil coming to spend the weekend with us.

Later tonight I'll make a pizza with raw tomatoes and eggs.

Tomorrow, we will have guest so I'll make a Good Friday meal. More on that later
